“US Elections 2024: What Impact on Our Economies and Geopolitics?”

The U.S. elections in November 2024 could be a game changer, both for the global economy and the geopolitical balance.

What effects will they have on international trade, economic policies in Europe, and financial markets? And what repercussions will they have on relations between major powers and defense policies?

This conference will offer clear and concrete answers to these upcoming challenges.

  • Alexandre Drabowicz, Chief Investment Officer at CA Indosuez Wealth Management, an economist specializing in macroeconomics and financial markets, will provide his analytical expertise on global economic dynamics and their interaction with public policies.

  • Meghan Dean, American diplomat and Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg, will bring expertise in international relations and crisis communication, enriched by her varied experiences within the State Department and abroad.

  • Robert Harmsen, Professor of Political Science and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences at the University of Luxembourg, will contribute his expertise in geopolitics and defense policies. A recognized specialist in European integration dynamics and human rights, he will enrich the discussion with his analysis of international issues, transatlantic relations, and contemporary challenges in global governance.

Debate moderated by Pierre-Yves Lanneau Saint Léger.
