B17 Charity Dinner “Stand Speak Rise Up”

As part of the international days to combat violence against women, the B17 has the great pleasure of organizing a charity dinner for the benefit of “Stand Speak Rise Up”, an association sponsored by HRH Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg .
During this dinner, Chekeba Hachemi (Afghan diplomat and Strategy and Philanthropy Advisor alongside HRH the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg in her fights against rape as a weapon of war and sexual violence in fragile areas), will make a presentation of “Stand Speak Rise Up” and his current projects.
Our chef will prepare an aperitif and a 3-course menu, food and wine pairing, which will be offered to you at a price of €150 per person, of which €50 will be donated to the association.
A raffle will be organized during this dinner in order to collect as many donations as possible for the “Stand Speak Rise Up” Association.

Chekeba Hachemi
Afghan diplomatFranco-Afghan, Chékéba Hachemi fled her country during the Soviet invasion in 1986 and arrived in France at the age of 11.
In 1996, she founded the association Afghanistan Libre, dedicated to the dignity of Afghan women (www.afghanistan-libre.org), and has since carried out numerous projects in education, information, rural development, and health, primarily benefiting women and young girls. The association was put on hold with the arrival of the Taliban in August 2021.
In 2002, she co-founded, alongside the magazine ELLE, the publication ROZ, the first Afghan women’s magazine and the only Afghan monthly to be published without interruption since April 2002, addressing topics that interest and assist Afghan women in their daily lives.
