As part of its art-related series, B17 is pleased to welcome Belen Irazola Uribe, a club member and painter.
Originally from Bilbao, Spain, Belen Irazola Uribe is a cosmopolitan artist who has lived in Madrid, Paris, Oxford, and Bangkok before settling in Luxembourg, where she currently resides. Driven by curiosity, encounters, and the discovery of other cultures, she finds a constant source of inspiration in the international context of the Grand Duchy.
Her works are inspired by her travels and by light, which plays a central role in her artistic approach. Textures, details, and pictorial “rhythms” nourish her world and are translated into vibrant compositions where movement and harmony converse.
Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, Belen explores the blending of techniques and color combinations. Her large contemporary canvases are distinguished by their elegance, depth, and the sense of completeness they convey.
To mark this exhibition, which will be presented at Tero House17 from May 5 to June 5, 2026, B17 is pleased to host an opening reception with the artist.

ArtisteOriginaire de Bilbao (Espagne), Belén Irazola Uribe est une artiste cosmopolite qui a vécu à Madrid, Paris, Oxford et Bangkok avant de s’installer au Luxembourg, où elle réside actuellement. Animée par la curiosité, les rencontres et la découverte d’autres cultures, elle trouve dans le contexte international du Grand-Duché une source d’inspiration constante.
Ses œuvres s’inspirent de ses voyages et de la lumière, qui occupent une place centrale dans sa démarche artistique. Textures, détails et « rythmes » picturaux nourrissent son univers et se traduisent dans des compositions vibrantes, où le mouvement et l’harmonie dialoguent.
Travaillant principalement l’acrylique sur toile, Belén explore le mélange des techniques et les alliances de couleurs. Ses grandes toiles contemporaines se distinguent par leur élégance, leur profondeur et la sensation de plénitude qu’elles dégagent.
Belén Irazola a exposé à plusieurs reprises Luxembourg, notamment à la galerie Subtile Style à Luxembourg (2022) à la BIL avec Art2Cure (2016), au Cercle Munster (2016), à la Dante Alighieri (2015), au Château de Bourglinster et à la Kulturfabrik (2015), au Château de Vianden (2013), au Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal (2012) et à Capellen (2011).
