Stéphane de Groodt
Actor, director, comedianBorn in 1966 in Brussels, Stéphane de Groodt started his career off to a flying start, being spotted by motor racing professionals, and winning the title of Belgian Champion in the BMW Compact Cup. At the same time, Stéphane De Groodt has cultivated his passion for laughter and entertainment since childhood. Starting his career on local television, he created the television series File in your room. He was in the ears of all viewers by lending his voice to advertising jingles for brands such as Carrefour. As the years go by, the actor establishes himself on the small screen: we see him in episodes of Joséphine, guardian angel, The White House, My friends, my loves, my troubles…, Merci boss, Don’t do it ci, fait pas ça, Le Sang de la vigne and more recently in Lycée Toulouse-Lautrec, in the role of Principal Feuillate, a series broadcast on TF1 in 2023. After having hosted chronic strippers in shows on Canal + such as La Matinale, he is now on the air every Sunday evening in Le Supplement. Maintaining his love for the absurd and derision, he invents improbable and satirical letters from readers. We can also have the joy of hearing it on the airwaves on France Inter, in the show Comme on nous parle. His talent was highlighted by Aurélie Filipetti, Minister of Culture, by awarding him the Raymond Devos Prize in 2014. In the cinema, we find him in numerous films: Mauvais Genres by Francis Girod; Casablanca driver by Maurice Barthélémy; Saint-Jacques… La Mecque by Coline Serreau; in 2008 as Numeric, in Asterix at the Olympic Games; Superchondriaque by Dany Boon in 2014 and in Barbecue the same year; Chacun chez soi by Michèle Laroque in 2020 or even in Champagne! in 2022.
