The artist Olivier Domin, also known as “OLLL”, will exhibit some of his works at Tero House 17 from October 11 to November 22, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olivier was born in 1965 at Ch\u00e2teau de la Ronde in Maine-et-Loire. He has been painting since a young age and, after a traditional career, decided to pursue his passion: painting. Since then, he has traveled and exhibited around the world. He has met artists such as Herv\u00e9 Dirosa, Gu\u00e9nard, Ben, and Cervera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is closely connected to the “\u00c9cole de S\u00e8te” of free figuration, with which he shares a special emotional bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pivotal moment came in 1989 when he met Patrick Shelley (grandson of Mary Shelley, author of the novel Frankenstein<\/em>). Patrick Shelley is one of the last living masters of the 20th century, alongside Braque, Matisse, and Picasso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After years of non-stop traveling across Europe, the USA, the Caribbean, and Latin America, he returned to his beloved Cannes, where he found a new source of inspiration, influenced by his travel memories and the emotional return to his roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His influences include Egon Schiele, for the power of line and the morphology of characters, and Andy Warhol, for his formats, colors, and the way he handles series of works. But his artistic journey did not start there. OLLL’s works can be found in many countries, particularly in Japan and the United States, where the joy he conveys through his paintings is truly contagious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
